Workshops can be booked and paid online or at our Workshop Office.
You can book several workshops at once. We offer the option of dividing the workshop fees into multiple payments, if needed. By paying the first workshop fee, the booking becomes binding and you secure yourself a spot in all booked workshops. The remaining fee is to be paid in full before attending your first workshop at the latest. After we receive the total amount, the workshop pass can be downloaded for the first time this year or printed at the Workshop Office.
The workshops are open for a limited number of participants. If we unexpectedly receive registrations for a workshop that is already fully booked, we will try to offer alternatives. If we are not able to do this, we will refund the total amount and no cancellation fee will be charged.
The Shake the Break workshops can be booked and paid online via the website, in our Workshop Office as well as on site at Dschungel Wien (cash payment only). Several workshops can be booked at once. In the course of the online booking, a children’s and youth account must be created.
Applications are possible as of 24 April via our application tool.
The selection will be made by the project heads and ImPulsTanz on grounds of the supplied material. The project heads are entitled to make a final selection on the first day of the project. Information about acceptance will be provided at the very latest two weeks before the start of each research project, but we try to inform you within three weeks after receiving your application.
The application fee of 50 euro is a one time fee. With the payment of this fee, the application is binding and obliges to pay the total fee of the research project in case of acceptance. The application fee is included in the project fee. As soon as we confirm your participation in the selected research project, you can pay the remaining project fee online via our payment link, via international bank transfer or directly at the Workshop Office. If you are not selected for any research project, the application fee is valid as an advance payment for workshops. If you are not interested in attending a workshop, the application fee will be refunded.
Please note, that most reserach projects are not taking place at the workshop centre Arsenal.
All participants of workshops and research projects will receive a workshop pass. This serves as a ticket for the courses and will be checked before or after the classes. Therefore, the workshop pass must always be brought along.
From now on, the workshop pass no longer needs to be collected personally at the workshop office. It will be sent to you by email upon your booking and payment. It can be presented either electronically or on paper.
We kindly ask you to upload a portrait photo to your ImPulsTanz account during the online booking process or to send it to workshopoffice@impulstanz.com (JPEG or PNG).
Discounts with the workshop pass
All workshop and research participants receive a 10 % discount on performance tickets, the ImPulsTanz parties as well as the ImPulsTanz Country Retreats and 20 % discount on the entry to the installations by William Forsythe at MAK – Museum of Applied Arts.These are available online and at the box office. Only one discounted ticket per production can be purchased with the workshop pass. Both the ticket and the workshop pass must be shown at the entrance. The discount is not valid at the evening box office and cannot be combined with other discounts (e.g. DER STANDARD Abovorteilskarte, Ö1 Club-Karte, AK AktivKarte). Furthermore, we would love to share memorable nights at the ImPulsTanz Festival Lounge with you: workshop pass holders enjoy free entry and a fast lane on all nights.
