Ariel Uziga was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and studied dance (with focus on contemporary dance and improvisation) and theatre with different teachers in Latin America and Europe, among them Eugenia Estevez, Julyen Hamilton. He is living in Vienna and has been working as a steady dancer of the Serapions Ensemble (Odeon Theater Wien) since 2006. He contributed to several dance and art projects, e.g. Carpa Theater, TanzFabrik, Ensemble Tamamu, etc. Additionally he is a certified Feldenkrais-teacher and Nuad-practitioner. Ariel is currently teaching improvisation, composition and Feldenkrais in Europe and Latin America. His passion is to create spaces for dialog and collaboration in these areas of work.
