tauchen' is a young music project from Vienna, consisting of Marten Kaffke, Eva Kehrer and Ilay Schwingshandl. In the summer of 2022, the three found pleasure in playing together with clichés of German pop romance. German pop, yes, but with depth! As the name of the band suggests, their lyrics don't just scratch the surface. Here, heartbreak can be processed in a danceable way.
DJ FRANCO FORTE came in contact with the dance floor before he encountered the light of the day. Influenced already in mothers womb with her DJ-playlist ranging from 60’s ROCK, late 70’s DISCO and 80’s POP, he developed an intense interest in all things concerning music, dancing and celebration. He started with turntablism listening to his favorite DJ’s Grandmaster Flash, Afrika Bambataa or Theo Parrish to figure out what it’s like to be a DJ. Franco started performing at Viennas clubs in 2003 and became a resident DJ at the famous Cafe Leopold MuseumsQuartier from 2004–2010.
After his eclectic mix became well known in town, he continued spreading his joyful grooves at Vienna’s renowed clubs (Flex, Pratersauna, Volksgarten, etc.), as well as reaching the hearts of the dancing crowds while on tour through Austrias highly ranked Clubs (Postgarage, PMK, Conrad Sohm, Rauch, Republic). Since 2022 he is resident DJ of Vienna’s rising clubpetersplatz.eins.
