Dancers of every style, level and age are invited to battle for the grand prize – a residency at ImPulsTanz 2024 – on 29 July at 20:15. The challenge is not only to outsmart the other participants through skills, sophistication, wit and craziness, but to also handle DJ Worst Messiah's spontaneous music selection. Hosted by Storm. Judges: Archie Burnett (co-host), Silke Grabinger, Terence Lewis, Sri Louise and Stéphane Peeps.

WITH TIKTOK STRAIGHT INTO THE ROUND OF 16

You now have the chance to advance directly to the round of sixteen of the freestyle dance contest on 29 July via TikTok. Simply upload a video of maximum 60 seconds in which you show your best moves, then tag @impulstanz and write #impulstanzcontest23 in the caption. All styles, all levels and all ages are welcome. We look forward to seeing your videos!

Please note:

• the video should contain as little camera movement as possible (preferably with a tripod)
• the video must be recorded in full screen mode and be unedited
• travel and accommodation costs will not be covered if you are not in Vienna at the time of the contest
