Do the hormones need to be tamed, and is the chemistry of desire to be diluted down to harmlessness? On the one hand, there’s porn as a media hype, on the other there are meticulous regimentations where sex is concerned. What are the differences between the concept of eroticism today compared to two decades ago? What happened to the sexual revolution of the 1960ies and how has the political correctness of past years influenced intimacy? These are the questions examined by Christine Gaigg in this performance. The piece is a stimulating irritation made up of text and dance with a deliberate inclusion of banality and bizarreness.
