an anarchist manifest of the actionists from the late 1960ies is confronted with the presence of 2015.
a speech act examines commitments, ideologies and political fantasies and their potential for conflicts in our society of prevention today. alexandra sommerfeld puts actionist material to test, re-enacting and appropriating it in public, whilst negotiating texts of the actionists through (and with) her body.
ultimately, the text is dumped – literally - by its female agent into our historical consciousness at the walls of the museum where the series redefining action(ism) takes place.
