„Unturtled #1“
In their series „Unturtled“ choreographer and dancer Isabelle Schad and fine artist Laurent Goldring explore the relationship between body and image. An extraordinary costume takes on a life of its own, sometimes making the body totally vanish behind a dark membrane and then coming back in an unexpected way and place. The clothes seem like a second layer of skin and act like an independant being – sometimes resistant and sometimes clownish. In „Unturtled #1“ Isabelle Schad dances a solo, in the premiere of „Unturtled #4“ Laurent Goldring accompanies her with her words.
