Ismael Ivo associates the drama on the raft of the Medusa, impressively depicted by the French painter Théodore Géricault in 1819, with the refugees’ overcrowded rubber boats on the Mediterranean sea. Ivo’s Biblioteca do Corpo® opens a logbook of the confrontation with the migration movements to Europe: with burning questions concerning the body, its desires and its suffering.
