Specific Abilities (Labour in Exile: Le Sacre & Powered by Emotion) Starting from two conceptually related pieces this workshop attempt to scrutinise possibilities for conceptual production of movement. Movement that destabilises common notions of dance articulated on the basis of representation, in favour of processes of differentiation in respect of dance as mode of production. Concepts such as appropriation, post-production, as-found and reiteration will be addressed practically and through discussions, next to notions of practice and its relation to consolidation of expression respectively production of specific abilities.
