Two figures emerge from the darkness like sculptures come to life: futuristic ideal types with shaved heads and naked to the waist. Subtle lighting, contrasted by pounding music, shapes muscles and contours. In this stirring dance a woman and a man explore the possible meanings of gender and friendship, identity and love in the dynamics of the present. Shamel Pitts, former member of the Batsheva Dance Company, and dancer Mirelle Martins transform the interplay of mutual approach, embracing and reserve into an emotional flight of fancy.
