Dance with its countless possibilities is even capable of walking. If necessary, as far as a hundred kilometres in three days, as happened in May 2015, when Foofwa d’Imobilité initiated such a marathon dance. Dancer Alizée Sourbé took part in the event, and in this danced film-review she looks back on many of the dancewalks that have since taken place in eleven countries: from Italy and Bosnia-Herzegovina via Russia and Iran to Mali and South Africa. This somewhat different form of dance, which, in a manner of speaking, represents a social intervention in public space, astonished, amused and caused a stir everywhere.
