An unexpected event triggered the creation of this work: the dancer and choreographer Lenio Kaklea forgot the PIN to her credit card. As she struggles to recall on stage what “the memory has veiled”, she composes a story that veers between the real and the imaginary. As both observer and observed, she poses the audience a question: “In an era as automated as ours, what does a memory gap mean after all?”
