A trio generates eerie rustling sounds, hidden revelations and inflated sculptures, fully aware that each moment banishes the previous one to the Orcus of its interpretation. Together with visual artist Alfredo Barsuglia, choreographers Oleg Soulimenko and Jasmin Hoffer step right into the traps – plastic sheeting, tunnels and sacks – of communication which often prevent understanding. All life is risky in the unstable realities of perception, and LOSS provides compelling evidence in favour of this notion, in all seriousness yet also ironically. Not a nightmare, but thrilling to the end.
