Two dildos, a tower of coffee cups, a few bottles, a bunch of ice cream cones, a pyramid of oranges. A middle-aged man takes off his clothes. A film by James Benning projects clouds onto the wall, soft piano music goes on a journey through time. The performer is Mårten Spångberg himself. Quietly, he begins his trip in view of the digital technologies. All tensions evaporate in the intimate atmosphere, in restrained gestures and dreamy vocals. Will it stay that way? And where does this intelligent artist’s trip lead – he who communicates with us and the things that surround him in such a strange manner?
