Combining rhythmic nuances from George Balanchine’s choreography and Janet Panetta’s unique philosophy of functional ballet technique, this workshop offers dancers a place to develop dynamic ballet movements as well as coaching on injury awareness. Working at an advanced pace, we build relationships with techniques that allow us to do more with ballet forms on our own terms, to our own ends. Working with efficiency in mind, we challenge ourselves to make beautiful physical images from a deep sense of knowing, self-determination, and care.
