MALANDRIA is a DJ and live performance fusion project by Malenciaga (Malika Fankha) and Barlamore (Andrej Barla). Their sets take you on a multisensorial journey full of textures, breezes and shivers, they flirt with the alluring charisma of darkness without neglecting a festive euphoria. While the beats remind us to keep our feet on the ground, the melodies pirouette with the precarity of icicles melting slowly in the first spring thaw. Ranging from rapturous beats to industrial techno, Malandria offer a refreshing antidote to mainstream party tunes, but can’t refrain from occasionally dropping a tacky, crowd-uniting pop reference.
