"Wer will kann kommen" Barbara Kraus is herself. First and foremost. The performer, the actress, the dancer, the seductress, the fighter, the feminist. Yet in "Wer will kann kommen" (Come if you want) she is also Johnny, a macho with shades and checked trousers, and shrill Mrs. Twiggy in a rubber hat and bright stockings. Kraus’ improvisation is based on a dialogue with her characters and the audience, which in turn provides Johnny and Mrs. Twiggy with material for activity and monologue. She leads herself and us by the nose and right in front of all those trite man-woman-stereotypes which, so it seems, will never cease to dominate our lives.
